Just a couple days away. It will be a very informative and inspiring presentation!

In honor of Women’s History Month, the Historical Association of South Haven is pleased to welcome back Michigan State Capitol Director of Education and History, Valerie Marvin, for a presentation entitled, “Saving Michigan’s Past: Women & Historic Preservation”.
For more than 150 years, Michigan women have proudly preserved state and local history in libraries, museums, community centers, clubs and public buildings. They’ve suffered horrific defeats – like the loss of the old Grand Rapids City Hall – and won magnificent victories, including the preservation of Michigan’s Capitol.
Join us on Tuesday, March 10 at 7:00P to learn about their work, legacies, and the tools they’ve left behind for us.
This presentation will take place at our Hartman School headquarters – 355 Hubbard St. - and is free and open to the public.

In honor of Women’s History Month, the Silver Bag Ladies of South

(AAUW-SH) was established in 1947 and consists of over 150 women from
South Haven and surrounding areas. The AAUW-SH is active in the

with the purpose of presenting the lives of historical and living women
through entertaining reader’s theater programs.
