WE NEED MORE FAMILIES!!! Come apply NOW!!! The South Haven Housing Commission waitlist has been moving!!! If you are low income AND in need of safe, clean, affordable housing, please come visit the South Haven Housing Commission located at 220 Broadway in South Haven and fill out an application. There is room on our WAITLIST. Our units for both families and elderly/disabled are top notch. There is no other city in SW Michigan where public housing looks like this! The South Haven Housing Commission is very pleased to announce that through a partnership with Village99 and Feel Good Fridge we were able to obtain 100+ new appliances for our families. The appliances will help to better serve our 122 families and continue forward with the goal of community transformation for our neighborhood. I would like to personally thank the Village99 Board of Directors and staff, not only for connecting us and brokering this opportunity, but for all the work you are doing to improve the lives of others.

Our building restoration project at Harbor View apartments is complete. Please take a drive past because pictures do not do it Justice. South Haven Housing Commision continues to live out it’s mission to provide safe and affordable housing for low-income residents.

We are excited to announce Phase II of our building restoration project at Harbor View apartments. The panels have all been replaced and secured during the completion of Phase I. The next phase will begin this week with the exterior of the building being pained for a fresh updated and modern look. More to come!

Take a look at our newest renovation at Harbor View apartments. We are transforming the community one unit at a time. We are providing a quality housing option for low-income families, seniors and those with disabilities. The South Haven Housing Commission has River Terrace, Harbor View and 42 Family homes.

The SHHC has started Phase I of our exterior building renovation at Harbor View apartments. In the first phase all panels will be replaced and updated. Phase II will start in the spring with painting and finish work. This project has been a long time in the making. It will give us a new modernized look and prepare the building for many more years of use. More to come..
