Yes, your kid will learn songs from Shrek, but underneath all that your child is going to stand in front of people for the first time and use their voice on purpose. They're going to be part of a team where everyone's role matters. That's the real magic of Little Lights. It's six weeks of confidence-building disguised as a whole lot of fun.

🎶 THANK YOU, DEB MORRISON! 🎶

This year marks Deb Morrison's final season planning Sundays in Patton Park, and we couldn't let that pass without saying a proper thank you.

Deb has been part of the SIPP committee since its inception, helping shape the free outdoor concert series our community looks forward to all summer long.

SIPP Committee Chair Brian Doser said it best:

"Deb has been an important part of the SIPP committee almost since its inception. Deb shows up ready to go for the new season and always has a well rounded musical sense and has been responsible for some of the more memorable performances we have had throughout the last 25 years!"

Twenty-five years of memorable Sunday nights in the park, that's a legacy worth celebrating.

Thank you, Deb, for your years of dedication, your musical instincts, and your steady presence on this committee. Patton Park sounds better because of you.

🌞 LAST DAYS OF SUMMER 🌞

We're soaking up these final few days before we're back to school!

If you've been around The Community House at all, you know we're never just talking about events on the calendars. We're talking about something underneath all of it.

We wanted to share a few seconds of pure, uncomplicated joy that was had this week on our patio. It’s what happens when a community makes room for kids to be kids.

That's the whole point. That's why we're here. For moments exactly like this. Not just for kids, but for everyone.

🕺 MIDDLE SCHOOL DANCES ARE BACK 🕺

Here's why we do this: Somewhere between elementary school and high school, every kid deserves a chance to try on a little independence. Their first "big" event without a parent hovering three feet away. Their first real hang with friends in a room full of music and nervous energy and pure, chaotic middle school joy. And Dancing! So. much. dancing!

That's what these dances are. A safe, low-stakes place for your pre-teen/teen to practice being out in the world a little more on their own, and honestly, it's become a full-on cornerstone of the pre-teen/teen social scene around here.

One registration fee. All three years of middle school covered.

💰 $50 registration fee for all 3 years of middle school
