What a wonderful evening celebrating Pride Month at our LGBTQ Celebration Dinner! 🌈✨

Guests enjoyed a delicious meal prepared by Chef Harold and an unforgettable performance by Soular Eclipse, whose blend of R&B favorites and jazz flair had everyone smiling, singing along, and moving to the music.

We were also delighted to celebrate our monthly birthdays and anniversaries and share in the joy of prize giveaways with our community. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening so special.

What a wonderful afternoon we had yesterday with Talking Across the Lines with the Klines!

Guests enjoyed delicious strawberry shortcake, meaningful conversation, and an unforgettable performance by Michael and Carrie Kline. Their authentic storytelling, beautiful harmonies, and deep connection to Appalachian music and culture captivated everyone in attendance.

We've heard so many positive comments from those who joined us, and we're grateful to everyone who helped make the event such a success. We also want to thank the Friends of the South Hadley Seniors and Mass Cultural Council who co-sponsored the event and made it possible!

🎬🐋 What an incredible evening at our Film Screening and Dinner event!

Guests enjoyed a special screening of the award-winning documentary In the Whale, the remarkable true story of a man who survived being swallowed by a whale and lived to tell the tale. Following the film, attendees had the unique opportunity to participate in a fascinating Q&A session with filmmaker and Boston Globe reporter David Abel, who shared insights into the story and the making of the film.

The evening also featured a delicious meal prepared by Chef Harold, along with our monthly Birthday & Anniversary Celebration, complete with prize drawings and plenty of fun.

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this event such a memorable experience. We also extend our appreciation to David Abel, Chef Harold, and the Friends of the South Hadley Seniors for their support in making this program possible.

🌱✨ What a wonderful time we had at our Companion Planting for a Thriving Edible Garden workshop!

Participants learned how to pair vegetables, herbs, and edible flowers to create healthier, more productive gardens. We explored plant partnerships that can help deter pests, attract pollinators, improve flavor, and make the most of every inch of growing space—whether in traditional garden beds or containers.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us, asked great questions, and shared their gardening experiences. We hope you're feeling inspired to try some new companion planting combinations in your own garden this season!

🌼🥕🌿 As a bonus, participants received free garden incentives to help put their new knowledge into action at home.
