Free entry to the 3 County Fair on Sunday, September 6, for all veterans and active military! Also stop by our tent, by the Tribute to America Stage, for a list of food vendors offering veterans discounts! We'll be there from 10:00am-3:00pm, along with other local veterans services/benefits providers, to chat and answer any questions you might have. Hope to see you there!

❤️🤍💙 SHOW OUR WESTOVER AIRMEN SOME LOVE! ❤️🤍💙

IYKYK, members of our Westover family have been under deployment orders since April. Now, some wonderful folks at Westover are putting together care packages for those serving overseas, and they’ve asked our community for a little help.

If you’re able to contribute, even one or two items can make a difference and remind our deployed service members that their community back home is thinking of them. ❤️🤍💙

Items specifically requested:
• Jerky
• Trail mix
• Tuna packets
• Ramen
• Oatmeal
• Electrolyte packets
• Gum
• Candy — please avoid chocolate that could melt in transit
• Cookies
• Healthy snacks, such as unsalted nuts
• Baby wipes

Westover has always been an important part of our community. This is one small way we can take care of those who serve and the Westover families who sacrifice alongside them.

Please consider picking up an extra item or two on your next shopping trip and dropping them off. And if you can’t donate, sharing this post helps, too!

Get ready for an exciting day at the VA CWM 7th Annual Car Show presented by Northampton Elks Lodge No. 997! Whether you're a die-hard car enthusiast or just looking for a fun family outing, this event has something for everyone.

September means it’s time for The Big E, New England’s great state fair. The Big E starts on Friday, September 18th, with Military Appreciation Day.

If you are a Veteran or currently serving in the military, join the Department of Veterans Affairs and receive free admission with proper ID. Stop by the VA’s one-hundred-foot information tent on the Avenue of States, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Speak with eligibility specialists and learn about the healthcare and other benefits your military service has earned you.

Springfield Armory National Historic Site is celebrating 250 years of American military manufacturing with its special event, Forging Freedom, on Saturday, Aug. 29.

From historic reenactments and demonstrations to military vehicles, traditional craftsmanship, a Black Hawk helicopter landing, Junior Ranger activities and free ice cream, there will be something for everyone. The day wraps up with a live performance by the 102nd Army Band RipChord from 4-6 p.m.

The celebration is part of National Park Week, Aug. 22-30.
