Obion County Schools is excited to announce the launch of Tiny Rebel Academy for the 2026-2027 school year.

Located at Lake Road School, Tiny Rebel Academy will provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for our youngest learners. The program will be overseen by District Daycare Director Sandy Simpson and Lake Road Principal Melissa Merritt, who will serve as the on-site supervisor.

Tiny Rebel Academy will offer the following age-based classrooms:

• Infant Class: 6 weeks – 12 months
• Toddler 1 Class: 13 months – 24 months
• Toddler 2 Class: 25 months – 36 months

Families interested in enrolling their child may pick up an application at either the Obion County Board of Education Office or Lake Road School.

Note: Once a class is full, a waitlist will be created!

Tiny Rebel Academy is designed to provide high-quality care in an environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. We are excited to offer this new opportunity to families throughout Obion County and look forward to welcoming our first students for the 2026-2027 school year.

When you work with the best people on both sides of the track......

Thank You to Twin Cities Railroad Museum for hosting Cup of Joe with the CEO today. A shout out to our local Twin Cities Chamber and the Obion County Chamber members that attended. We had delightful treats with a little help from Twin Cups Coffeehouse, Fancy Fannie's Bakery and the Museum members. Photo op courtesy of Thunderbolt Broadcasting.
