Today just after 1:00pm, three children suffered severe electrical burns and were airlifted to a trauma center after a high-voltage power line came down. Emergency responders treated the victims at the scene and transported them to the Benjamin Coser Elementary School where helicopters were waiting.

Agencies Involved: Fallsburg Fire Department, Woodridge Fire Department, Hatzolah EMS, Fallsburg Police Department, Sullivan County Sheriff's Office, and NYSEG.

Safety Reminder.
Stay Clear: Never approach or touch downed power lines.
Assume Danger: Treat all fallen wires as live and energized until utility professionals declare them safe.
