Our club members had the opportunity to tour the South Charleston Interpretive Center in the City of South Charleston, WV today! This great museum highlights the history of the Mound, Belgian Glass, and Union Carbide! Stop by 313 D Street for a tour!

Thank you to Ashley and Donna from Sleep in Heavenly Peace - WV, Kanawha Co for speaking to our club yesterday. This is a great organization with a focus on providing free beds to children in need. To find out more about this organization, be sure to check out their page and website: shpbeds.org.

Also, they are hosting a Bunks Across America Bed Build Day at the South Charleston Lowes on Saturday, September 12th. There will be 2 shifts, 9am-12pm and 12pm-3pm. We are excited to support the South Charleston Chamber of Commerce's Annual 5K Wellness Run/Walk again this year! Some of our Rotarians will be out on the course directing traffic in the morning! Hope to see you there!

Let's give a shout out to the Rotary Club of South Charleston, WV! You will see some Rotarians out on the course on Saturday helping to direct traffic and at the water station! You can still register online today to participate in our annual 5K Wellness Run/Walk!
