South Charleston Housing Authority South Charleston Housing Authority manages 121 units of public housing that the agency leases to low and moderate income families.

Parkland Terrace has 97 apartments ranging from efficiency to four bedrooms. There are 24 scattered site homes that are also rented as public housing scattered throughout the city of South Charleston. These units consist of two, three, and four bedroom homes. Applicants are screened and must pass a criminal background check, credit check, prior rental history check, and meet admissions requirement

s regarding family composition and income limits. The Mission Of The Housing Authority Of The City Of South Charleston, West Virginia is to provide safe, maintained, affordable housing and a suitable living environment for the families we serve. We will partner with our residents and others to enhance the quality of our community. The Housing Authority strives to operate in an efficient, ethical, and professional manner.
