📢 COMMUNITY MEETING CLARIFICATION

The Town of South Boston would like to clarify that the community meeting scheduled for Tuesday, September 8, 2026, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. in the South Boston Town Council Chambers is NOT a meeting being held by the South Boston Town Council.

The Council Chambers were reserved by Cenergy Power for a community meeting regarding its proposed Harris SB Solar Project. Cenergy is required to hold this community meeting pursuant to the Town Code as part of its Special Use Permit application process.

The meeting will provide an opportunity for members of the community to hear directly from Cenergy, review the proposed project materials, ask questions, and provide feedback to the applicant.

Please note: The proposed Harris SB Solar Project has not been placed on the South Boston Town Council's agenda at this time. This September 8th community meeting should not be considered a Town Council meeting or an indication that the Town Council has taken any action or position regarding the proposed project.

We hope this clarification helps avoid any confusion regarding the purpose and sponsorship of the September 8 meeting.

📍 Location: South Boston Town Council Chambers, 420 Main Street
📅 Date: Tuesday, September 8, 2026
⏰ Time: 6:00–8:00 p.m.
