Expected Traffic Delays ๐๐๐
Roads impacted: Pond Rd, Junction Rd, Knights Pond Rd, Hooper Sands Rd, Emeryโs Bridge Rd, Bennett Lot Rd, Ogunquit Rd, Boyds Corner Rd, Thurrell Rd, Great Hill Rd
Pumpkinman is this weekend. The roads will be open to vehicle traffic, but we do ask for motorists to try to avoid the impacted roads during the races both Saturday and Sunday morning.

South Berwick will be welcoming athletes for The Pumpkinman Triathlon & Running Festival this Saturday, September 12, 2026 and Sunday, September 13, 2026! Get ready to cheer them on! ๐ฃ๐
If youโll be driving through town on race mornings, please keep an eye out for runners and cyclists and expect some temporary traffic stops. Roads will remain open, but members of the South Berwick, Maine Police Department will periodically stop traffic to let athletes safely pass.
๐ฆ Saturday: Traffic impacts may begin as early as 4:30 AM, with the triathlon starting around 7:00 AM.
๐ฆ Sunday: Traffic impacts may begin as early as 6:00 AM, with running races starting around 7:00 AM.
If possible, avoid the race area until around noon. If you need to travel through, please give yourself some extra time, slow down, stay alert and follow directions from police and race personnel. Thank you for help keeping our athletes, public safety personnel, residents and other drivers safe. ๐ฉ
