Great Lakes Heating & Air Conditioning has been an incredible friend to RiverBend and to the people and families who turn to us for support.

Year after year, they continue to show up for our community with generosity, compassion, and a genuine desire to help others. Their kindness has helped put food on tables, ease financial worries, restore confidence through wigs and personal care, and create opportunities for wellness, learning, emotional support, and meaningful connections with fellow survivors. Through it all, they've helped bring comfort, dignity, and a sense of community to people living with cancer and their families.

We are beyond grateful!

A heartfelt thank you to our friends Everwise Credit Union for their generous $5,000 gift in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Cancer affects so much of a person’s life, including finances, emotional well-being, sense of self, and more. The kindness and compassion of our community helps us continue to support and help improve the quality of life of people living with cancer and their families during some of the hardest seasons of their lives.

💗🎗️ Earlier this month, we shared how Everwise is recognizing Breast Cancer Awareness Month by supporting organizations that help ensure no one faces cancer alone.

This week, we had the opportunity to visit RiverBend Cancer Services and present a $5,000 donation in support of its mission. RiverBend provides hope, guidance, wellness programs, counseling, and direct assistance to cancer survivors and their families throughout our community.

Seeing their impact first-hand was a powerful reminder that community support can make all the difference during life's most challenging moments. 💜

When our priority is supporting people living with cancer, survivors, and their families, building updates wait.

For more than a decade, RiverBend’s Wellness House has been a place where people can find comfort, connection, wellness programs, and support services to help them face and move through some of life’s hardest seasons. Over those ten-plus years, our building has naturally aged in ways that now require our attention, and it's time to invest a little love and care back into it.

We are grateful to 1st Source Bank Foundation for their generous $25,000 contribution toward our Wellness House Renovations & Improvements Project. Their generosity helps make these updates possible so the Wellness House can continue to be a warm, welcoming place for people living with cancer, survivors, and their families in our community.

Join us at Dance for the Cure on Saturday, August 22, at South Bend Elks Lodge #235 on McKinley Ave. from 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM! Sponsored by Dan O'Day Dance Studio and The De Amicis Club, this annual event raises funds to support programming and services for people living with cancer, survivors, and their families in our community.

We’re deeply grateful for this partnership and for the enthusiasm and dedication poured into this event each year, making it such a fun and meaningful experience for everyone involved.
