Happy Friday! Time to highlight another Attendance Awareness Ambassador- this week we are showcasing Julius Rhodes with Career Academy Network of Public Schools

When asked, do you think school attendance affects students once they become adults, his response was: "being in school helps students build relationships as trusted adults. As adults, it strengthens communication skills, confidence and a sense of belonging."

Happy Friday! Time to highlight another Attendance Awareness Ambassador- this week we are showcasing Turrell O'Neal. Mr. O'Neal is the Assistant Principal of School Culture at Paramount South Bend.

Here are his thoughts on why school attendance is important:
"School attendance is important to me, because there's not only academic development but there is also social and emotional development as well. The whole child is engaged and developed. Every day builds upon the last, so every day is important. Students who attend regularly feel more connected to their school community."
