So many fans came out to meet Dolly Vanderlip and Mary Moore, former players of the All American Girls Professional Baseball League Players Association. It's always an honor to spend time with these inspirational trailblazing women ⚾

In honor of America's 250th anniversary, ten lanterns are making their way through Indiana, eventually stopping at their permanent final location at the Indianapolis War Memorial. One of the lanterns will make a stop at The History Museum and the Studebaker National Museum this coming Monday, June 8, so make sure to stop by and see a new piece of Indiana history in the making!

The lanterns represent the lanterns hung in the steeple of Boston's Old North Church, which famously acted as a signal to alert the force at Concord of the route of the British army - "One if by land, two if by sea."

Here you can see one of the lanterns, which was previously on display at The History Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
