We’ve already introduced you to our incredible 2026 honorees, and now it’s time to celebrate them!

Join us Thursday, October 8, at The Armory in South Bend for YWCA North Central Indiana’s Tribute Dinner & Live Auction — an evening celebrating community, leadership, service, and the people who help make our work possible.

YWCA North Central Indiana is looking for On-Call Crisis Support Staff to join our team in South Bend and Elkhart!

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for flexible work while making a meaningful difference for individuals and families in our community.

What does on-call mean?
🧡 Choose one weekend each month to be on call
🧡 Be available to work at both South Bend and Elkhart
🧡 Help cover call-offs, vacations, and other staffing needs
🧡 Coverage may be needed for any of our three shifts: 6 a.m.–2 p.m., 2–10 p.m., or 10 p.m.–6 a.m.
🧡 Attend a monthly meeting on the third Wednesday evening

A recent advertisement sparked an important conversation about violence against women. For us, and for thousands of families, it hits too close to home. Nearly 200,000 individuals face intimate partner violence and domestic abuse in Indiana every single year. Fear, hopelessness, and trauma are the reality for far too many in our community.
