We are honored to share that YWCA North Central Indiana was selected as a grant recipient through the University of Notre Dame’s Philanthropy and the Common Good Course!

Through this unique partnership with The Philanthropy Lab, Notre Dame students work directly with local nonprofits throughout a grant application process before selecting organizations to receive funding support. Since its launch, the course has awarded more than $500,000 to local nonprofits making a difference in our communities.

We are incredibly grateful to be recognized alongside fellow awardees El Campito, The Salvation Army Kroc Center, and Cross Community CDC as part of this year’s $50,000 in grant funding.

Thank you to the students, faculty, and supporters who believe in the work we do to support women, children, and families across our community 🧡

Nothing better than Movie Night Under the Stars ✨🎬🧡

From cozy blankets and snacks to glowing stars and big smiles, our children and families enjoyed a night filled with laughter, connection, and fun together. Moments like these remind us how important it is to create safe, joyful spaces where families can simply be together and make happy memories.

A huge shoutout to our incredible Childcare team for making the evening so creative, welcoming, and full of love for the families we serve. 🌟

This.

This is why our team answers the phone at 2 a.m.
Why our shelters stay open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Why we never stop showing up for survivors.

Because domestic violence is dangerous. And far too often, it turns deadly.

To anyone living in fear: it is never too early — and never too late — to ask for help.
