Work Weeks volunteers got the Chapel cleaned to sparkling thanks to some seriously creative pressure washing skills! Some amazing original pine and cedar hues were revealed during the clean, breathing new life into the Chapel and its bell tower.

If we told you that a Work Weeks volunteer might be the reason you have a hot shower at Camp Paradise… wood you believe it?

It’s true! The trees cleared from our worksites are recycled as firewood throughout the season.

🪵 Woodstoves warm up the Lodge on chilly mornings in spring and fall
🪵 Campfires light up our nights during the summers
🪵 Shower houses are equipped with wood-fired water heaters

We’re grateful for the volunteers that work hard to fill up our woodsheds—thanks for keeping Camp Paradise warm!

Solid crew showed up to demo Birch & Cedar cabins. These buildings served campers well for decades. Next summer they’ll be brand new and ready to welcome Dads Campers and Women’s Retreaters! Interested in helping fund this project ($35K/cabin needed)? Donate at campparadise.mywell.org.

Session 9 Dads Camp created life-changing moments and memories for campers. Fathers/father figures and their sons (ages 10-12) spent three full days discovering how to hear the heavenly Father's voice and follow Him. For five decades, Camp Paradise has been sacred space for people to say YES spiritually and relationally. The same is true today and we're trusting God that it will continue long into the future!

Every morning during Dads Camp the chapel bell rings at 11:20 AM. It signals the end of solitude time and the transition to one-on-one time for fathers and their daughter or son. Time with the heavenly Father prepares a dad’s heart to be more fully present as a father alongside their child at camp and at home.🏕️🔔❤️
