🔥 Live Fire Training 🔥

Today, our firefighters participated in live fire training to sharpen their skills and continue their commitment to excellence.

Training is one of the most important things firefighters do to prepare for real emergencies. Live fire training provides hands-on experience in realistic conditions, allowing firefighters to practice critical skills such as fire attack, search and rescue, ventilation, communication, and teamwork.

The heat, smoke, and stress encountered during live fire exercises help build confidence and reinforce the skills needed when lives and property are on the line. These training opportunities ensure our members are prepared to respond safely and effectively when our community needs us most.

Thank you to Carlisle Township Fire for inviting us to participate in this valuable training and work along side multiple very valuable mutual aid partners!

🔥 Live Fire Test-Outs Complete 🔥

Today two of our probationary firefighters put their training to the test in live fire conditions—pushing themselves both physically and mentally. From advancing lines to navigating heat, smoke, and zero visibility, these firefighters showed grit, focus, and determination every step of the way.

This is where classroom knowledge meets real-world application—and they rose to the challenge. 💪

Congratulations to the LCFCA Fire 1 class for successfully completing their live fire test-outs. Your hard work and dedication are what keep our community safe.

If anyone is looking for a dinner idea and a great cause! There’s one tonight at the Amherst Eagles, Kevin is a retired SAFD firefighter who devoted himself for years before retirement. If you’ve attended one of the Association’s steak fry’s within the last few years you’ve seen Kevin still helping out with tickets at the door.
