Today, members of Mechanicsville Hose Co. proudly participated in Memorial Day services alongside the Sayreville Fire Department and South River Fire Department as we came together to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. 🇺🇸

Our members were honored to then participate in both the Sayreville and South River Memorial Day parades, standing in unity with our neighboring departments and communities in remembrance of our nation’s heroes.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support today’s events and to all those who continue to serve and protect our freedoms every day. We will never forget. ❤️🤍💙

Recently, members of Mechanicsville Hose Company #1 visited surrounding cemeteries where our past members are laid to rest to proudly replace and refresh their American flags in preparation for Memorial Day weekend. 🇺🇸

This small act serves as a reminder that the dedication, sacrifice, and service of those who came before us will never be forgotten.

We proudly honor and thank all former members, veterans, and active members of our Armed Forces for the sacrifices they have made — and continue to make every day — to keep our communities, our country, and our freedoms safe.

May we never forget those who served and those who gave everything for our nation. ❤️🤍💙

A heartfelt thank you to the Mayor and Council, the American Legion, our supporting departments, our Chaplain, and the members of the South Amboy Fire Department for your continued support and presence.

Most importantly, thank you to Rafael’s family for sharing him with us over the years and for being part of such a memorable night. Your support behind the scenes never goes unnoticed.

❄️🚒 Blizzard of 2026 Update – Jersey Strong Edition 🚒❄️

To all our amazing residents: THANK YOU for digging out those fire hydrants like it’s an Olympic sport. 🥇 Your backs may be sore, but your neighborhood firefighters appreciate you more than you know.

We also appreciate your patience while the County, the Department of Public Works, OEM, and all assisting agencies are running on coffee, diesel, and pure determination to keep these streets passable. ☕🚜

Remember:
🚫 No parking in the snow piles
🔥 Keep hydrants clear (3 feet around, please!)
🚑 And give plows and emergency vehicles plenty of room

We promise — we like responding to emergencies… just not by sled. 🛷

Stay warm, stay safe, and as always — we’re here if you need us.

Our thoughts are with the men and women of the Camden Fire Department and all those affected by today’s water rescue incident on the Delaware River.

In moments like this, the fire service stands united. We are here to support Camden Fire in any way needed in the days ahead.

When one department faces hardship, we face it together as one fire service family.
