Just a little bit of fun and history.

When we started and purchased the Mack I had always said I wanted to bring the 74 down to wildwood. Well we worked hard and got the Engine up and ready and washed Thursday of wildwood. Charlie and myself set off and made the trip down on a wish and a dream and made it down. Well tonight wild scrolling Google Earth I came across this picture and had to share.
Made Voyage trip and a Google Earth picture to prove it. Wildwood 2025.

Here’s to 2026 adventures to come ahead.

On September 28th the 74 made a trip down to the New Jersey Fire Museum for their open house. While we were down there I had the opportunity to take this picture (edited with some artwork). Here is Mechanicsville Engine 10 and Protection Engine 6 both once formally served the Pleasant Little City of South Amboy.

These two old friends got to see each-other after 25 years apart. Keasbey “Protection Fire Company” Ladder 424 and South Amboy”Protection Engine Company Engine 506. These two trucks were once together and were on Perth Amboy’s Second Alarm run card. “More picture to come of the two of them together at fires.”
