The Entertainer Bill Monaghan will share this Billy Joel show with live piano and vocal music along with a multimedia presentation, “Billy Joel: The Songs, Successes, & Struggles.”

🎭🎶Oh what a beautiful day it was for an Oscar Hammerstein themed event! We enjoyed a lunch menu of varied delicious dishes from around the world showcasing cultures from some of Hammerstein‘s most famous shows. Favorite performers Shannon and Cayden shared a few beloved Broadway standards. Everyone enjoyed an informative and engaging presentation by Julie Flack of the new Oscar Hammerstein Museum and Theatre Education Center. Thanks to all who supported this showstopper event!

During this day-long event at Philadelphia’s Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, 15 inspiring speakers will challenge and spark your imagination with their current thoughts on the future of our democracy. Generations has been chosen as a satellite location where the whole event will be live-streamed (FREE!) in our Community Room. Join us for all, or part, of this once-in-a-lifetime event (unless you plan to live another 250 years)!

VACCINE CLINIC WITH GIANT PHARMACY
FRIDAY, JUNE 5, BY APPOINTMENT
Pharmacists from Giant/Martins will offer a Vaccine Clinic. Bring your insurance cards and wear a short sleeved shirt for the appointment. Pharmacists will be able to check the state registry to determine what vaccines you are eligible for. Pharmacists will offer vaccines for Covid (both manufacturers), Shingles (1st or booster doses), Pneumonia, Tetanus, RSV, and Hep B. Free with health insurance. Appointments preferred; walk-ins between 9:30-11:30 if space is available. Stop by or call the Generations front desk at 215-723-5841 to schedule.
