I've installed a new "Louisiana Pottery" Exhibit at the Albany / Springfield Library. If you get a chance to go there to see the Exhibit, Great! If not, here are a few pics. Let me know if you recognize any of the artists. The Exhibit will be up until mid May.

Grandpa and the girls are available at Louisiana Pottery in Sorrento. Call Judy at 225-675-5572 for more information. These are a rare find. The arms and legs move, and the bodies are made of clay. Just adorable, so I wanted to share. The artist is Lorraine Gendron.

I have just acquired some artwork, mostly etchings by artist Milda Spindler. Louisiana Pottery has represented Milda since 1999, so many of you are familiar with her work. I will be posting a few pictures of her work, and if you are interested in the pieces, please contact Judy at Louisiana Pottery. But first, here is her artist statement.

A new pottery exhibit has been installed at the South Branch Library in Livingston. It will continue until the end of March. I hope you get to see it there, but if not, check out the website at www.louisianapottery.com and go to the exhibit page. As always, I am so proud of our Louisiana artists.
