The Treutlen County Farm Bureau sent $5 Dairy Queen gift cards to all Treutlen 4-H’ers who received 1st place at DPA!

We had a few that are not pictured, but we are so proud of all of our participants and thankful for Farm Bureau’s kind and thoughtful act!

As many of you are well aware, areas in our southeast district have been severely affected by wildfires. While several fires have been contained, the fire in the Brantley County area continues to burn. At last report, the fire encompasses approximately 4,000 acres and has destroyed 40 homes.

During times of need in our district, our Extension family comes together to assist those who have been impacted. If you feel led to donate, below is a list of supplies that are needed immediately in Brantley County.

I can deliver items tomorrow, April 23, while attending a 4‑H district wide 4-H meeting if you can get items to me at the 4-H office (5032 South 3rd Street) this afternoon by 4 PM.

A special shout out to Lucas Briggs for receiving 2nd place overall in the Senior division out of 58 shooters at the district shotgun match! Way to go, Lucas!

Also, the Treutlen Senior Team 1 placed 4th overall!!
