🚨 FRAUD ALERT for LOCAL BUSINESSES 🚨
"Motion Picture Money" is being used to scam businesses — don’t get caught!

The City of Soperton Police Department has received reports of individuals attempting to pass off fake “Motion Picture Money” bills as real currency during cash transactions. These counterfeit bills are often very realistic and can be easy to miss in busy settings.

🔍 What to Watch For:

Look for the words: " MOTION PICTURE PURPOSE" or "COPY" — usually printed in place of standard text

Texture may feel off — thinner and smoother than real bills

Ink and color may appear faded or unusually bright

Missing key features like security threads, watermarks, and color-shifting ink

🛡️ Protect Your Business
📣 Spread the word — let’s help each other stay vigilant.
