It’s only week two, and our Flowery Mentor Center is buzzing with activity. We love seeing our mentors and mentees back together. One mentor put it best: “Mentoring is so fun, you should charge the mentors!” We hear versions of this often—and we’re so glad to have everyone back for another great year of mentoring. 💙

Our first Culinary Class of the school year! Mentors and mentees served up a Mediterranean feast featuring chicken shawarma, hummus, spanakopita, tabbouleh and orange olive oil cake. Everything was delicious and making it together made it taste even better!

New school year, new school and a brand-new mascot—the Puma! 🐾
We kicked off the year with a ribbon-cutting celebration at the new MacArthur Park School. Our mentors and mentees will reunite there after Labor Day, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back. Go MacArthur Park Pumas! 💛
