𝐖𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐘𝐎𝐔: 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐚 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐲 𝟒𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐬 𝐰𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚'𝐬 𝟐𝟓𝟎𝐭𝐡 𝐁𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐝𝐚𝐲

For more than 50 years, the Sonoma Volunteer Firefighters' Association (SVFA), Sonoma Valley Fire District, and Sonoma Valley Firefighters Local 3593 have proudly hosted Sonoma’s 4th of July Fireworks Celebration, one of the valley’s most cherished traditions.

Each year more than 30,000 residents and visitors gather for a full day of festivities including:

• A festive morning parade through downtown Sonoma
• Food vendors, games, and family activities in the Plaza
• Live entertainment throughout the day
• Sonoma’s iconic fireworks show to close the evening

In 2026 we will celebrate “America at 250.” We are also bringing back our community celebration mailer, delivered to 10,000+ homes across Sonoma Valley to promote the event, encourage public donations, and highlight our business sponsors.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, SVFA relies on community sponsorships to make this celebration possible. Your sponsorship helps:

• Keep the celebration free for the community
• Support local firefighters and community programs
• Continue a 50+ year Sonoma tradition
• Provide a safe, professional fireworks show that helps reduce illegal fireworks

Great to see all the kids out today at our Annual Easter Egg Hunt in Glen Ellen Woodland Star Charter School. Special thanks to Wine Country Chocolates for donating chocolate fire engines for the golden eggs. Also to Glen Ellen Village Market and Clover Storenetta for the egg donations. This event has been going on for over 30 years now started by the Glen Ellen Fire Department and Edmund Joseph. Hope to see you next year.

The Sonoma Valley Fire District reminds the community that all consumer fireworks—including sparklers and “safe and sane” varieties—are illegal throughout Sonoma Valley and the entire County of Sonoma.

Fireworks pose a significant risk of injury and wildfire, especially during our dry summer months. Instead of risking your safety and the safety of your community, join us for a safe, professionally operated fireworks show that everyone can enjoy.

We also recognize that fireworks can be distressing for individuals living with PTSD and for pets. Please take a moment to review our fireworks safety tips and coping resources at www.sonomavalleyfire.org.
