Fundraising is essential to fund the operations of the Somerville Rescue Squad, our Auxiliary and Cadet Corps. When we are able to add a social element to it, even better. Please order from the Raritan Panara Bread Company on May 1st from 4pm to 8pm where up to 25% of the net sales will be donated to the Squad. A tasty way to do something for your first responders!

As prehospital providers we need to be on point for every patient we encounter. This week the EMTs of the Somerville Rescue Squad spent over 8 hours in classes refreshing our knowledge and skills in the care of the trauma patient as well as recognition and reporting of Human Trafficking. Special thanks to Scott A Skrivanek for leading the sessions and making us all a little more knowledgeable!

The Somerville Rescue Squad is looking for EMTs to join our 98 year-old organization. As one of the oldest community-based EMS agencies in the United States, you volunteering helps shape the fabric that makes Somerville great!

Thanks to everyone who came out despite the cool temperature to participate in this year's egg hunt. A great time was had by all! Thanks to all our EMTs, crew assistants, cadets, and rescue team members that planned and implemented today's event! Happy Spring to everyone!
