Seasonal PT Housekeepers
Work Schedule INCLUDES Weekends and Holidays (7am – 3pm)

Somerville Home, Inc. a 59-bed, Level IV, non-skilled, Long Term Residential Care Community offering supportive housing to residents age 50 and older, is currently seeking seasonal help from mature, extremely responsible, hard-working and team oriented individuals to assist us in maintaining the high standards we have set for our Home. Experience dealing with an adult population is preferred, some of our clientele are living here due to traumatic brain injuries, developmental delays and/or mental illness. Prior experience in cleaning for a hospital setting or another retirement home preferred as experience in the proper procedure of cleaning bodily fluids will be helpful. Housekeepers work in BOTH laundry and housekeeping, so ideal candidates will have both skill sets.

Laundry
Job Responsibilities include:
1. Sorting, soaking, washing dirty laundry using proper procedures
2. Drying, folding and delivering clean laundry
3. Other tasks as assigned

Housekeeping
Job Responsibilities include:
1. Clean, sanitize, dust and tidy assigned bedrooms, bathrooms & all common areas
2. Empty & clean trash and refill supplies as needed throughout building
3. Assigned bed changing and floor washing
4. Bring laundry to laundry room
5. Return cleaned laundry to Residents

Familiarity with MSDS and universal precautions is a MUST. Verbal and Written communication skills a must as these positions interact with residents daily, write daily duty log sheets and are responsible for writing resident incident reports as needed.
CPR certification is a plus.
