Memorial Day Parade, Ceremony, and Family Fun Ride cancelled

In consultation with the Somerville Veterans Committee and the Office of Emergency Management, the Borough of Somerville has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2026 Memorial Day Parade, the ceremony that follows, and the Family Fun Ride due to weather.

In place of the parade and ceremony, the Borough will host a brief prayer service at New Somerville Cemetery, located at 192 South Bridge Street, on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25 at 9:30 am. The public is welcome to attend. We invite the entire community to join us for this solemn observance honoring the men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation.

The Tour of Somerville will continue as planned and road closures remain in effect. Download the resident notice at www.SomervilleNJ.org/MemorialDay.
