Friendly reminder that tomorrow is the last day

Tuesday, June 2, 2026 is the last day for voters already registered to vote to change or declare a party affiliation before the September 2026 State Primary. Only undeclared voters may declare a party on Primary Election Day.

What does this mean?
If you are already registered to vote in Somersworth and your current party affiliation is declared as Democratic or Republican, come the September 2026 State Primary Election, you must vote on the corresponding party ballot.
If you are already registered to vote in Somersworth and your currently party affiliation is Undeclared, come the September 2026 State Primary Election, you will be able to declare your party affiliation during check-in and receive the corresponding party ballot. Before leaving the polling place, you can request to return back to Undeclared.

If you are not already registered to vote in Somersworth, you can do so at the City Clerk’s Office. Visit the Election & Voting webpage for more information or contact the City Clerk’s Office at 603-692-9511.
