The Pulaski County Extension Office is currently looking to hire an Extension Staff Assistant.

REQUIREMENTS:
As an Extension Staff Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Extension office.

GENERAL DUTIES INCLUDE:
* office management
* customer service
* record keeping and newsletters
* program support
* conducting yourself in a professional manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:
* office receptionist
* word processing
* QuickBooks
* filing
* maintaining databases & mailing lists
* developing and maintaining websites
* designing newsletters
* providing support for county agents and program assistants

You will report to an Area Director and there will be a high level of interaction with the general public.

The Chamber of Commerce would like to congratulate our May "Ambassador of the Month" .... Catelyn Baker.

Catelyn is the Sales & Marketing Representative for The Job Shop – Somerset Region. She services 9 counties in the Lake Cumberland Region and is skilled at developing the right action plan for each of her client’s unique needs and committed to helping them recruit the most qualified candidates for their businesses.

Catelyn’s passion to assist others and support her community not only shows in her professional career, but in her local volunteer work as well. In addition to being a Chamber Ambassador, Catelyn is also a board member of the Southeastern Kentucky SHRM, is involved in Young Professionals of Lake Cumberland, and many other endeavors in Pulaski County including being a 2023 graduate of Leadership Lake Cumberland.

Outside of work, Catelyn enjoys spending time and exploring new things with her family, and can often be found supporting her daughter, Emelia, on the softball field.
