This Friday and Saturday the Texas Association of Mariachi Educators State Mariachi contest continues! This event is hosted by Somerset ISD and is open to the public. The City of Somerset welcomes TAME this weekend!

💥🎆Fireworks Test Run🎇💥
The City of Somerset will be conducting a test run for our Fourth of July fireworks display tonight between 7:15 PM and 7:45 PM.
🧨The test will be conducted by Professional Pyrotech to ensure everything is ready for our upcoming celebration.🧨
Residents in the area may hear loud booms or popping sounds during this time. Please do not be alarmed—this is only part of the scheduled testing process.

Thank you to everyone who attended our Easter Egg Hunt on Friday. We hope everyone had a great time. Thank you to our city staff, our local senior citizens at the Somerset Senior Center, and Somerset High School Men of Honor for assisting with filling 4,000 eggs for the hunt. We are looking forward to next year already!
Also, thank you to our amazing sponsors for helping with this community event. Ricardo with Happen Here Media put together an amazing video to show just how many people this event brings to Somerset. 🐣🪅🐰

Friendly Reminder: Join us tomorrow for our Annual Easter Egg Hunt! There will be a raffle, face painting, a food vendor with fish and shrimp, lemonade, shaved ice, funnel cakes, and kettle corn!
