CLASS OF 2026 🎓🐾

On Sunday, May 31st, 316 Somerset High School seniors crossed the stage, marking the end of one chapter and the beginning of a new journey.

From outstanding performances to heartfelt speeches, graduation served as a shining example of Somerset ISD’s commitment to developing the leaders, innovators, and difference-makers of tomorrow.

As these graduates turn the page and step into their futures, they carry with them the lessons learned, memories made, and Bulldog pride that will remain with them for a lifetime.

☀️🍎 Summer learning and summer meals go hand in hand!

Our students are enjoying FREE nutritious meals after Bulldog Camp and other summer activities. Somerset ISD is proud to offer free breakfast and lunch for children throughout the summer at both Barrera Elementary and Somerset High School.

📍 Locations: Barrera Elementary & Somerset High School
🍽️ Breakfast: 8:30 a.m. – 9:15 a.m.
🍽️ Lunch: 11:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
📅 Monday – Friday until July

Whether students are attending Bulldog Camp, participating in summer activities, or simply need a healthy meal, we're here to help keep them fueled for success! 💙🐾

🎓✨ Congratulations, ZECLA Class of 2026! ✨🎓

What began as a dream has become a reality. Today, we celebrate the hard work, perseverance, leadership, and dedication of our Zacharias Early College Leadership Academy graduates as they take the next step toward their futures.

From academic achievements to personal growth, these students have demonstrated what it means to lead with purpose and strive for excellence. We are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished and excited to see the impact they will make in their communities and beyond.

As they turn their tassels and begin a new chapter, we wish them continued success in college, careers, and wherever their journeys may lead.

🌟 Congratulations to Ms. Matilda Martinez, Somerset ISD's Transportation Employee of the Year! 🌟

For 26 years, Ms. Martinez has safely transported Somerset students, dedicating her entire career to Somerset ISD. She has driven the same route for 23 years and is on track to reach an incredible half-million miles next year while serving a second generation of Somerset families.

As Ms. Martinez says, "I drive more than a bus—I drive trust, safety, and care." Thank you for your dedication to our students and community! 🚍

🎨🎭🎶 The Somerset Fine Arts Summer Academy is off to a fantastic start!

Our elementary students kicked off Day 1 with excitement, energy and plenty of creativity as they began exploring the world of fine arts. From learning new skills to making new friends, our young Bulldogs embraced every opportunity to express themselves and have fun.

We are excited to watch these talented students grow throughout the academy and can't wait to share more of their incredible work in the days ahead!
