My Biography

I am running for the 85th District House of Representative for the Republican Primary Election May 2020. I was born on April 19th, 1963 to Willard Hargis and the late Ruby Hash Hargis. I married to the love of my life Sheila Sutton Hargis on July 24, 1981 at Hazeldell Church of Christ, where we both are members and attend still to this day. We have been blessed in marriage for 38years and with three children, Brian (Tasha) Hargis, Jennifer (Allen) Price, and TJ Hargis. I have five grandchildren, Aiden Hargis, Gracelynn Hargis, Allis Hargis, Abbinee Price, and Bexleigh Price they truly are a light of my life. I have one Brother Mark (Marcia) Hargis and the late sister Sandy (Kenny) Hamilton. I graduated from Shopville High School in 1981, where I was the President of FFA for two consecutive years. A farmer for all my life and member of Pulaski County Farm Bureau for many years. I am the current President of Pulaski Farm Bureau since 2012 as well as The President of the Woodstock Community Center. We (my wife and I) have been business owners for 25 years at Valley Farm Equipment, We also own Counterweight Blue Inc. (KY-TENN Tire Ballast) which we have owned for 10+ years. We are farmers of Cattle, Corn, Hay, and Soybeans. My Family and I are avid Hunters and all support The 2nd Amendment. I am Pro-Life and strictly against abortion. My Wife and I enjoy riding our Honda Motorcycle Trike. We love spending time with our family, as well as our church family. I strive to be an honest and upmost outstanding citizen and christian at all times.
