25 YEARS LATER — WE REMEMBER. 🇺🇸

Today, we pause as a nation to remember September 11, 2001 — a day that forever changed our country.

We honor the 2,977 innocent lives who were taken from us, including the brave members of law enforcement, firefighters, emergency responders, and military personnel who ran toward danger while others were running away.

We remember the families who lost mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, husbands, wives, brothers, sisters, and friends. Twenty-five years may have passed, but for many families, the pain and loss remain as real today as they were that morning.

As law enforcement officers, we especially remember the courage and sacrifice of those who gave everything in service to others. Their actions remind us of the oath we take and the responsibility we carry every day to protect our communities.

On behalf of the Atlantic County Sheriff’s Office, I ask that we keep the victims, survivors, first responders, and especially the families who continue to carry this loss in our thoughts and prayers.

We will never forget their lives.
We will never forget their sacrifice.
We will never forget September 11th.

May God bless the families who lost loved ones, may He continue to comfort those who still carry the scars of that day, and may God bless the United States of America. 🇺🇸
