The Solvay High School Chamber Choir spent their Sunday morning serenading the church community of St. Cecilia's after Mass. Students had the opportunity to sing in a stunning acoustical space that amplified the quality of the choir's performance. Many thanks to the parishioners of St. Cecilia's for their warm welcome!

☕️🌱 Bearcat Buzz: From Grounds to the Ground 🌱☕️

What a day for the Bearcat Buzz Crew! We kicked things off this serving staff their favorite morning fuel and fresh-baked treats (thanks to our Treat Maker: Mrs Schumaker). Later, students traded in their aprons for gardening gloves and started up our Community Garden! Together with the Best Buddies group, we planted several fruits, veggies and herbs for the community to enjoy!

We are so proud of these students and their hard work: fueling our community in more ways than one!

Today was First Responders day at SES! 🚓🚑🚒

Officer Ratcliff arranged for First Responders to visit Solvay Elementary! Solvay Police, Town of Geddes Police Dept, Syracuse Police Department, Syracuse K-9, Syracuse Bomb Squad, Syracuse SWAT, Syracuse Response Unit, and Solvay Fire Department allowed students to explore the vehicles and check out equipment used.

The students loved the experience!

Please note that the Varsity Athletic Celebration that has been scheduled for this Thursday, May 28 at 5:30 will now be held on Tuesday, June 9 at 5:30.

The SHS Choral Program would like to invite family, friends, and the Solvay community to our spring concert, "Stories from Around the World" on WEDNESDAY, MAY 27TH, 2026, 7PM in the HS Auditorium.

You'll hear songs that span cultures, centuries, countries, and continents. We will also distribute the annual Choral Awards and will honor our thirteen graduating seniors!
