🚑🧸 Stuffed Animal Donation Drive 🧸🚑

The Caribou County Ambulance Service is asking for your help to bring comfort to our smallest patients.

When children experience emergencies, it can be scary and overwhelming. A simple stuffed animal can make a huge difference—providing comfort, distraction, and a sense of security during a difficult moment.

❤️ We are collecting NEW stuffed animals to keep on our ambulances and give to children in need.

Donation Guidelines:
✔️ Must be NEW (for health and safety reasons)
✔️ Medium or small size preferred

Drop-Off Location:
📍 40 West Center Street Soda Springs, Idaho

Every donation helps us turn a frightening situation into something a little less scary for a child in our community.

Thank you for supporting your local EMS and helping us care for Caribou County—one small act of kindness at a time. 💙

🚑 Your Ambulance Service Is Here for You – Don’t Hesitate to Call 🚑

In Caribou County, we are incredibly blessed to have dedicated ambulance crews ready to respond when someone is sick, injured, or in need of medical help. These teams are trained, equipped, and on call 24/7 to care for our community when it matters most.
Unfortunately, many people hesitate to call for an ambulance because they think their situation “isn’t serious enough,” they don’t want to bother anyone, or they plan to drive themselves. The truth is, getting medical care early and safely can make a huge difference in an emergency.

Our ambulance crews can:
• Begin medical treatment right away
• Monitor vital signs and stabilize patients
• Provide safe transport to the hospital
• Bring lifesaving equipment directly to you

If you are experiencing chest pain, trouble breathing, severe bleeding, stroke symptoms, serious injury, or any situation where you are unsure what to do — please call 911. That is exactly why ambulance services exist.

Your local EMS providers are your neighbors, friends, and family members who care deeply about this community. They would much rather respond and help than have someone wait too long to get the care they need.

💙 When in doubt, call. We’re here for you.

They can start lifesaving care immediately at your side, including monitoring your heart, giving oxygen or medications, and getting you to the right hospital fast.

Don’t wait it out. Don’t drive yourself.
Early treatment saves heart muscle—and lives.

If you or someone near you has symptoms, call 911 and let our EMTs help.

What if you called 911 and no one came?
Caribou County EMS is looking for individuals in our communities who are willing to become Volunteer EMTs. Currently, an Ambulance is stationed in each city to cover calls in the area and all ambulances are operating dangerously understaffed to the point of barely being able to cover emergency calls. An EMT class will be held starting in November and continuing into March. Coursework will be online and classroom portions will be held on Tuesday nights. After completion of the course, EMTs are expected to take call time where they would need to be available to respond to Emergency Calls and Transfers. Applications are available at the EMS Office in Soda Springs and Caribou County website. Application deadline is October 19th, for any further questions, the office can be reached at 208-547-2583.
