South African big game hunter Theunis Botha was killed during a hunting expedition in Zimbabwe after a violent encounter with a herd of elephants.

According to reports, Botha was part of a professional hunting group operating near a wildlife area when they unexpectedly came across a breeding herd of elephants. Witnesses say the animals became aggressive almost immediately, a common reaction when elephants feel their young or territory are threatened.

As the elephants charged, the situation quickly escalated. During the chaos, one of the elephants was shot. The animal collapsed and fell onto Botha, crushing him. He died at the scene from his injuries.

Botha was a well known professional hunter from South Africa with years of experience guiding big game hunts across Africa. Despite that experience, the encounter shows how unpredictable and dangerous hunting large wild animals can be.

Wildlife experts note that elephants are highly intelligent and deeply protective of their herd. Female elephants in particular will aggressively defend their group if they sense danger. Once a herd charges, it is extremely difficult to stop or control the situation.

Tenemos una cultura en la que el oficial de transito o policia, buscan mas que nada el imponer multas al por mayor. no importa si tomaste todas las precauciones al manejar. Si te cruzas una linea sin usar el direccional, haces un alto con pocos segundos, das vuelta sin que ellos vean la luz deldireccional es una multa. lo que importa es la cuota diaria. El sostener el "departamento" con infracciones de transito. Pero, quien es el que vigila si ellos no cometen infracciones? deberia de existir una oficina de ciudadanos que sean los que revisen, analicen y aprueben, revoquen ou otorguen descuentos en las infracciones. Este departamento debera estar totalmente independiente del departamento de policia, y del Juez.
El ingreso por las infraccione,s por ciudad estan aproximadamente entre 100 y 400 mil dolares mensuales.
Lo mismo pasa en Cd. Juarez que en El Paso, Socorro, etc.
