Cortical Visual Impairment in Children with Cerebral Palsy
Speakers: Sandra Newcomb, PhD, Connections Beyond Sight and Sound, University of Maryland, Department of Counseling, Higher Education, and Special Education, Mary Stevens, OTR/L, Sara Kempler, Special Education Teacher, Delrey School, Unified Community Connections.
Participants will learn what cortical visual impairment (CVI) is; what the leading causes of CVI are; and general principles of intervention for children with CVI.
Audience: Individuals with cerebral palsy, their families, healthcare professionals, KKI employees
Seminar is free but registration is required and limited to 40 participants. CEU’s will not be offered. Dinner will be served.
