The Snow Hill Police Department is the primary law enforcement agency that serves and protects the citizens of Snow Hill, NC. The agency was created on 01/01/2012 to better serve the citizens of Snow Hill with a local law enforcement presence. Chief Smith oversees 5 full time officers and 4 part time officers, consisting of 8 patrol officers and a patrol sergeant. All of these officers have many y

This Christmas Season the SHPD was honored to adopt a very special family in our community. Chief Smith spent his day shopping his heart away for this family, when he got back from his shopping adventure Cpl. Johnson along with Chief Smith wrapped all of the gifts. Officer Lancaster delivered the gifts to the family; they were overjoyed with the gifts. From all of us here at SHPD, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
