WATER & SEWER RATE UPDATE NOTICE

The Town of Snow Hill recently mailed notices regarding the upcoming water and sewer rate changes that will take effect with the July 1, 2026 utility bill.
Due to the timing of the mailing, some customers may have received the notice without the enclosed rate schedule. Copies of the rate schedule are available at Town Hall, have been posted on the Town's website, and are attached to this post for your convenience.

If you have any questions regarding the new rates, please contact Town Hall during normal business hours.

📢 IMPORTANT NOTICE – WATER & SEWER RATE UPDATE 📢

The Town of Snow Hill would like to inform residents that water and sewer rates will increase beginning with the July 1, 2026, utility bill.
Please see the attached rate schedule for additional information regarding these changes.
Customers will also receive a letter by mail with additional details about this rate adjustment.
We appreciate your understanding and continued support as we work to provide dependable utility services to the citizens of Snow Hill.

🚛 GFL UPDATE 🚛

Per Tyler Pate, General Manager with GFL Environmental:

GFL workers experienced a minor delay this morning. The only two streets remaining are Jennifer Lane and Patrick Drive, and they will be serviced first thing tomorrow morning.

Town offices will be CLOSED on
Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day.

Splash Pad Opening Reminder
The splash pad will be open Monday, May 25:
• 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
$2 per entry fee.

Spring Clean-up Week is now complete. Any additional trash placed out after your area was serviced will not be collected unless a special pickup is requested.

Residents must either:
• Request a special pickup for a fee of $65.00, or
• Remove the trash from the property.

As previously announced, all trash was required to be placed out by the morning of May 18, 2026, for collection.
Residents were also informed that Town staff would only make one trip through each area during Spring Clean-up Week.
