Since there is no permitting requirement for door-to-door solicitation within the City of Snook, we wanted to make residents aware that the City has been contacted by Evita Bookgirl Diana, a student from Latvia who is selling educational products for Southwestern Advantage.

Evita shared that she will be in the Snook community going door-to-door offering educational resources to families.
If Evita visits your home and you are not interested, she respectfully asks that you simply let her know, and she will thank you for your time and move on. 📚

📢 NOTICE TO CITY OF SNOOK WATER & SEWER CUSTOMERS

The City Council of Snook has approved adjustments to water and sewer utility rates. These changes are necessary to help cover increasing operational costs, system maintenance, regulatory requirements, and future infrastructure improvements to ensure reliable service for our community.

New Water Rates

💧 Inside City Limits
• 0–4,000 gallons: $40.20
• Over 4,000 gallons: $4.80 per 1,000 gallons

💧 Outside City Limits
• 0–4,000 gallons: $48.05
• Over 4,000 gallons: $4.80 per 1,000 gallons

New Sewer Rates

🚰 0–1,000 gallons: $34.95

🚰 1,001–50,000 gallons:
• $5.00 per 1,000 gallons (based on average use)

🚰 50,001–100,000 gallons:
• $6.20 per 1,000 gallons (based on actual use)

🚰 100,001–200,000 gallons:
• $7.45 per 1,000 gallons (based on actual use)

🚰 200,001+ gallons:
• $8.70 per 1,000 gallons (based on actual use)

The new rates will become effective July 1, 2026.
