Today we welcomed back our Raven alumni who are graduating from Glacier Peak High School this year! We cheered them on as they walked through the building and enjoyed spending time with them at recess. Congratulations, graduates—we are so proud of you! Once a Raven, always a Raven!

Congratulations to Emily Muniz, our next Golden Raven!

Emily was nominated by Emily Dittoe who shared the following, “Getting to share a name with Ms. Emily is such an honor, but getting to work alongside her is a true privilege. Ms. Emily is the kind of teacher every parent hopes their child gets and every teacher hopes to have as a colleague. She goes out of her way every single day to support her students, families, and staff here at Totem Falls. Any student lucky enough to be in her classroom makes tremendous progress because she creates an environment where every child feels safe, valued, and capable of success. Her dynamic teaching style meets a wide variety of learning needs, and her creativity shines in everything she does. From her daily lessons to the staff events she helps put on through the Sunshine Committee, she truly does it all! Ms. Emily is the best of the best, and I feel so lucky to work alongside her and learn from her every day.”

Today, our Ravens enjoyed the "Secrets of Wizards" magician assembly! Students were amazed by the fun tricks, interactive performances, and magical surprises throughout the show. A huge thank you to the Totem Falls PTO for supporting this assembly as one of our Walk-A-Thon prizes—it was a fantastic experience for everyone!

Wednesday was our final Raven Racers of the school year! We celebrated many students reaching the 100-lap milestone. It was also special to have several of our 6th graders join us for their final Raven Racers event before heading off to middle school—way to go, Ravens!

On Monday we kicked off our last character trait, Creativity. Some of our Ravens showed their creative side by putting our creativity video together. Can’t wait to see all the creativity this month!

Congratulations to Ms. Logue, our next Golden Raven!

Aly was nominated by Mrs. Challender who said, “Aly is an exceptional teammate whose flexibility, positivity, and willingness to embrace new ideas makes a tremendous impact on our school community. She approaches challenges with an open mind and a collaborative spirit, always ready to try new strategies and support others along the way. No matter how unexpected the situation, Aly adapts with grace and a ‘go with the flow’ attitude that helps create a calm and supportive environment for her students. She started girls on the run helping encourage confidence, teamwork, and perseverance in our students. Our school is stronger because of her dedication.”

“Alison is a teacher that is dedicated to her class and shows such a compassion and grace during challenging situations. You can tell the time and effort she puts into her students to ensure they are growing both academically and socially. I appreciate all that Alison does for her students and I hope she knows the difference she is making! Thank you for all that you do for your students with such patience, love and encouragement!”

Our next Golden Raven is Ericka Beyer!

Ericka was nominated by Heather who stated, “Mrs. Ericka receives this award in recognition of her extraordinary courage and unwavering dedication to the health and wellbeing of our elementary school community. Each day, you meet challenges with calm strength and decisive action, providing care, reassurance, and safety to every student who walks through your door. Whether responding to emergencies, supporting students through difficult moments, or advocating for their needs, you demonstrate a quiet bravery that inspires trust and confidence in all of us. Your compassion, resilience, and steadfast commitment embody the very spirit of courage this award represents, and our school is stronger and safer because of you.”

This was perfect timing because on Wednesday is National Nurse’s Day!
