Today some of our Arrow of Light and Webelos Scouts had the privilege of touring a U.S. Navy submarine and seeing how the crew trains when they are not out at sea. It was an incredible experience for those who were able to attend.
The Scouts had the opportunity to tour the USS Nevada (SSBN-733), learn about life aboard a submarine, and see firsthand how the Navy prepares and trains its crews. Experiences like this give Scouts a unique look into teamwork, discipline, and service to our country.
We also had the privilege of having Andy M., the Pilchuck District Director, spend the day with the Scouts and join us for this experience.
A big thank you to the Navy personnel who took the time to host us and share their knowledge. Itβs an opportunity the Scouts will likely remember for many years.
