Correction on last post. The I 10 Bridge Eastbound has structural damage due a Semi Truck fire. Traffic is being diverted to Sneads to get back to I 10.

For the Graduation, the Parking Lot will be open for parking behind the Town Hall as you can see here☝🏿 Space is limited but We will make room for as many vehicles as we can the Gym is right across the Street on Church Street.This is for overflow parking so people can get to the Gym and reduce congestion. Thank you. 2028 3rd Ave Sneads , Florida for people arriving who are not from the Sneads area.

Sneads High School Graduation has moved to Sneads Highschool Gym. Parking will be allowed at Town Hall. For overflow.

Sneads High School Graduation is set for Tuesday at 8pm. If weather permits it will be at the football field as always. Expect Traffic Congestion on Old Spanish Trail during the Graduation. If it moves to the Gym because of weather, Visitors are very welcome to park in some spaces at Town Hall. They will NOT be permitted to park in front of the Fire Department in case the Fire Department is called out for emergency. There will be No exceptions in this matter. I will make some space at the Police Department as well should the Graduation be moved to the Gym. Parking in front of the Fire Department is strictly prohibited and we're sending this notification ahead of time due to people in the past attempting to do this anyway. Thank you and Congratulations to the Class of 2026.- Chief Preston

Sneads Police and Jackson County Sheriffs are trying locate missing runaway juvenile Brayden Edward Powell age 15 . He was last seen in Sneads at 6pm in the area of Sherry Street. 5'7 140 pounds. He was wearing white sweatpants,no shirt, Crocs. He is also wearing a Camouflage Ball cap with a white mesh back. The words Farm Credit are printed on the front of the ball cap. He just enrolled in Sneads High School two weeks prior. If located please contact 850-482-9648 Jackson County Sheriff's Office.
