Cobb Collaborative

Cobb Collaborative Cobb Collaborative educates, engages, and empowers local people and organizations to improve outcomes for children and families in Cobb County.

Every community has a wide range of needs and Cobb County is no exception. Improving the lives of everyone in a community is a daunting and complex challenge. But there is a way for all of us to work together towards collectively improving our county. We partner with a range of organizations and causes, but we focus on initiative areas of Mental Health, Literacy and Civic Engagement to make the la

rgest impact on our community. For more than 30 years, the Cobb Collaborative has served hundreds of organizations and individuals in Cobb County. Our goal is to be the bridge that connects all of our collective efforts into a greater impact. We’re an official Georgia Family Connection Partnership, meaning we have statewide support but deliver on a local level.

Happy Pride Month!🏳️‍🌈 This month, we celebrate the LGBTQ+ community while recognizing the importance of creating environments where everyone feels valued, supported, and free to be themselves.

Research shows that supportive schools, workplaces, families, and neighborhoods can significantly improve mental health outcomes for LGBTQ+ youth and adults. Mental health support is not one-size-fits-all, and fostering a sense of belonging can make a meaningful difference in people's lives.

This Pride Month, let's continue building a community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

Since launching last fall, The Basics Cobb County Playgroup Program has been creating opportunities for children and their caregivers to grow, learn, and connect together. 💙

⭐ 100% of caregivers reported feeling very confident using The Basics principles by the middle of the session.
⭐ Two-thirds reported feeling connected to other caregivers through the program.
⭐ 100% rated the playgroup experience 4 or 5 stars.

These results from our 2025 Impact Report, representing six family groups, highlight the power of creating spaces where families can learn, build relationships, and support their children's development together.
