It was great to welcome everyone back for our September Membership Luncheon! We had a fantastic turnout filled with valuable community updates.

A special thank-you to Southern Bank for sponsoring this month’s luncheon and for its continued support of the Chamber and our community!

We also appreciate our presenters from the Smithville School District:

- Lisa Manz, Family Resource Specialist, shared updates on the Warrior Closet and the important resources it provides to local students and families.

- Carol Noecker, Real World Learning Coordinator, highlighted the district’s efforts to connect students with meaningful, real-world business experiences.

- Dr. Mark Maus, Superintendent, provided updates on current construction projects and the district’s bond initiatives.

The luncheon also featured a special presentation of the colors by the Sons of the American Revolution and a meaningful 9/11 remembrance speech from Dewayne Knott.
