The Smithville-DeKalb County Chamber of Commerce was honored to present a 75-Year Milestone Award to DTC Communications in recognition of its remarkable legacy of serving our communities for three-quarters of a century.

Since 1951, DTC has connected generations of families and businesses through reliable communication services and a commitment to innovation. From its beginnings as a rural telephone cooperative to becoming a leader in fiber internet and telecommunications, DTC has played a vital role in the growth and success of our region.

Thank you, DTC Communications, for 75 years of dedication, investment, and service to the people of DeKalb County and surrounding communities. We congratulate your leadership, employees, and members on this outstanding achievement and wish you continued success for many years to come!

Congratulations to the DeKalb County Fair on an incredible milestone! 🎉

The Smithville-DeKalb County Chamber of Commerce was honored to present a 170-Year Milestone Award to the DeKalb County Fair in recognition of 170 years of agricultural heritage, community spirit, family traditions, and service to the citizens of DeKalb County.

Since 1856, the DeKalb County Fair has brought generations together to celebrate agriculture, showcase local talent, support youth programs, and create lasting memories for families throughout our community. This remarkable achievement is a testament to the dedication of fair board members, volunteers, sponsors, exhibitors, participants, and supporters who have worked tirelessly through the decades to make the fair a success.

A special thank you to the current DeKalb County Fair Board and the many local volunteers whose leadership and commitment continue to ensure the fair remains one of Tennessee's premier county fairs.

Here's to 170 years of tradition and many more years of celebrating the best of DeKalb County!
