The kickoff meeting for the newly formed Parks & Rec Committee will be Thursday, Aug 27 at 6:30pm in the Smithville Community Center. First order of business is brainstorming fundraisers for a special Christmas project.🎄

The Smithville City Council will soon be approving the creation of the Smithville Parks and Recreation Committee. This committee will consist of a group of volunteers who would like to assist in upcoming community projects, beautification, and community event and dinners.
If you would be interested in joining the Parks and Recreation Committee please message here or reach out to one of the City Coucil members below by Aug 12th.
