Today we are thankful for all of the air ambulance resources we have in our area. We were able to provide 4 Air Evac helicopters (AE 108, AE 157, AE 120 and AE 143) to assist Livingston County with critical patients. Thank you to everyone who assisted on this scene. We are so proud of the teamwork and professionalism that is shown when it is most important.

Please keep these families and our county’s first responders in your thoughts this week following this tragic incident.

On Tuesday, June 23, 2026, Livingston County first responders were dispatched to the 1400 block of U.S. Highway 60 West in reference to a two-vehicle collision.

As a result of the collision, two individuals—a 5-year-old male and a 61-year-old male—succumbed to their injuries. Four additional individuals, including two children and two adults, were airlifted to out-of-state hospitals for medical treatment.

The collision remains under investigation. Additional details will be released at a later time as they become available.

Please keep the victims, their families, and the first responders involved in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
