It's concert day!

Liquid Pleasure will close out the 2026 River Jam Concert Series tonight at 7:00 PM at the Neuse River Amphitheater.

We know many people have been looking forward to this show, and we're excited to welcome everyone for a fun evening of live music. While temperatures will remain warm this evening, the concert is on as scheduled. If you plan to attend, please dress appropriately for the weather, stay hydrated, and bring plenty of water. We'll also have plenty of food and drinks available tonight as well.

We'll see you tonight for the River Jam finale!

🚨 IMPORTANT EVENT UPDATE: Art & Wine Walk Rescheduled 🚨

Due to the extreme heat and 105°F+ heat index predicted for tomorrow afternoon, we are moving the Spring Art & Wine Walk to NEXT Friday, June 19th from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM! ☀️🌡️

The health and safety of our community, artists, and vendors is our top priority, and we want everyone to be able to enjoy the wine and art comfortably!

🍷 Ticket Holders: Your tickets will automatically transfer to next Friday, June 19th. No action needed—just show up ready for a great time next week!

The Liquid Pleasure concert is STILL ON for tomorrow night, Friday, June 12th!

Thank you all so much for your flexibility and understanding. Stay cool, and we will see you tomorrow night for the concert, and next Friday for the Art & Wine Walk!

Make plans now for an unforgettable Friday night in Downtown Smithfield.

The Spring Art & Wine Walk returns Friday from 5-8pm with wine tastings, local art, handcrafted vendors, live creativity, and the annual Sidewalk Chalk Art Contest.

After exploring downtown, finish the evening at the Neuse River Amphitheater with Liquid Pleasure as they close out the 2026 River Jam Concert Series beginning at 7pm.

Gather your friends, enjoy everything downtown has to offer, and experience one of the most exciting nights of the summer.

On Friday, June 12, enjoy an evening filled with local art, wine tastings, live music, shopping, and community fun.

The Spring Art & Wine Walk begins at 5:00 p.m. and features wine tastings at participating downtown businesses, pop-up art galleries, a makers market with handcrafted goods, and a Sidewalk Chalk Art Contest where artists will compete for a $500 grand prize.

Then head to the Neuse River Amphitheater at 7:00 p.m. for the final, FREE River Jam concert of the season featuring Liquid Pleasure.

UPDATE (2:05pm) - Piedmont Natural Gas has stopped the leaked and will be making repairs for a little while longer. However, we will be clearing the scene shortly and reopening the road. Thank you for your patience.

The Smithfield, NC Police Department and Smithfield Fire Department are assisting with a natural gas leak on the 400 block of Second Street between Riverside and Davis. Please avoid Second Street and this area if at all possible. Crews are on site and we expect the closure to last a couple of hours.
